Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Sign up with your email address or Google SSO. Both options are protected by CAPTCHA to prevent abuse. If you sign up with email, you'll need to confirm your email address before you can sign in.
After signing in, you'll be asked to create an organization. Choose your type:
- Agency — if you manage advertising for multiple clients
- Brand — if you're tracking your own advertising data
Enter your organization name and you're ready to connect your ad accounts.
How do I connect Google Ads?
Navigate to Settings > Platforms in your account and click Connect Google Ads. This opens a Google OAuth consent screen where you authorize ROAS Reports to read your advertising data.
After authorizing, you'll see a list of available Google Ads accounts. Select the ones you want to sync and click confirm.
Your credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored securely. We never see your Google password — everything goes through OAuth.
What happens after I connect?
Once you connect Google Ads, three things happen:
- 25-month backfill — We load your complete campaign history going back 25 months. This happens automatically in the background.
- Daily sync — After the initial backfill, data syncs every day at 5 AM UTC. Each sync pulls the last 7 days of data to catch any retroactive adjustments Google makes.
- Dashboard populates — Once the backfill completes, your dashboard shows real data. Until then, you'll see sample data so you can explore the interface.
How do I invite my team?
Go to Settings > Team and click Invite Member. Enter their email address and choose a role:
- Viewer — can see all reports and data (read-only)
- Editor — can create groupings, segments, alerts, and trigger syncs
- Admin — can manage team members and organization settings
- Owner — full access including deletion and ownership transfer
They'll receive an email invitation with a link to join. Invitations expire after 7 days.
What if I'm an agency connecting a client?
Agencies can add client brands from the organization switcher. You have two options:
- Create a brand — Set up the brand organization yourself. The brand owner can claim it later via email invitation.
- Request access — If the brand already has a ROAS Reports account, send them an access request specifying which platforms you want to manage.
See Agency Features for more details on the agency-brand relationship model.
